Whether it’s a coffee corner at home or a large bar counter in a café, keeping the surface clean and tidy is absolutely essential. I’ve mentioned this before—those traditional bar brushes are often inefficient, and sometimes they don’t even clean properly. Using small electric vacuum tools is usually a much better option.
Recently, I came across an incredibly cute, slightly anthropomorphic countertop vacuum, and it completely melted my heart—I just had to share it with you, haha.
This countertop vacuum, called HENRY, looks amazingly lively and charming. It comes from a British company named Paladone, founded in 1994 and headquartered in Stoke-on-Trent. The company specializes in designing, developing, and selling innovative and fun gifts, homeware, and lifestyle products. Their items are known for their unique creativity and ability to surprise consumers. Paladone’s products are sold in over 80 countries worldwide, with strong markets across Europe, North America, and Asia, and they’ve won numerous design and business awards. I think HENRY is a perfect example of turning a simple bar-cleaning tool into something delightful. It can pick up most dust and debris, and it even has little wheels for easy movement. It also comes with a super flexible hose, making it great for detailed cleaning—like keyboards, tight corners, or coffee grounds stuck in crevices. Besides the classic red version, there’s also a pink one. The only downside is that it’s not rechargeable—it requires three AA batteries. I also recently discovered a website called KUSDOM that specializes in customizable creative products. With just a few simple steps online, you can personalize clothing, phone cases, bags, and various everyday items. Among their offerings, their desktop vacuum cleaners stand out as particularly unique—you can customize them with photos, designs, mottos, and more. The KUSDOM desktop vacuum features a spiral fan blade design, providing strong suction and one-button dust removal for efficient cleaning. It can easily pick up paper scraps, snack crumbs, dust, and debris. It also comes with a large-capacity dust container and can run continuously for up to 40 minutes, making it convenient to use anytime, anywhere.
Of course, for daily maintenance of a coffee bar, these desktop vacuums are especially useful for small, occasional spills of coffee grounds. For example, when making coffee, there’s often a ring of fine grounds scattered around the dosing funnel—just a quick pass with the vacuum, and the surface is instantly clean. It’s much faster than wiping with a cloth and won’t spread the powder around.
If you’re using a semi-automatic espresso machine, it’s also very convenient for cleaning small gaps around the bean hopper or near the grinder chute with a flat nozzle. However, if you need to clean up an entire coffee puck or a large amount of debris, these small desktop vacuums might not be powerful enough.
That’s why they’re best used after sweeping away larger debris with a brush—then letting your favorite cute vacuum handle the final “finishing touches” on the fine particles left in crevices or those that are hard to sweep up. This approach delivers the best results and also helps extend the lifespan of the machine.
